We’re pleased to have found a fantastic venue to host a gathering of traditional singing. From a kernel of an idea last year, with support from a number of people involved in organising such events, we are delighted to be able to welcome people to the Fire Service College at Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire. Accommodation is all ensuite and the site has a range of facilities to support people’s dietary and accessibility requirements. (However, there aren’t any facilities for camping, motorhomes or caravans.)
The festival provides a chance to meet some of the country’s finest singers of songs learnt in their local community, in social groups where entertainment was home grown and unfiltered through technology. This is a fine opportunity to share music, discover some hidden gems and find inspiration.
